''Blood Money'' is the seventh studio album by Mobb Deep, released on May 2, 2006. It is the group's only album on G-Unit & Interscope. It features guest appearances by G-Unit and Nyce. Mobb Deep
Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from New York City. The duo consisted of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. They are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip hopEdwards, Paul, 2009, '' How to Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC'', Chicago Review Press, p. 323. and hip hop in the mid-1990s. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records. Their best-known albums are ''The Infamous'' (1995), '' Hell on Earth'' (1996) and '' Murda Muzik'' (1999), and their most successful singles were " Shook Ones (Part II)" and "Survival of the Fittest." ''Blender'' was an American music magazine that billed itself as "the ultimate guide to music and more". It was also known for sometimes steamy pictorials of celebrities. It compiled lists of albums, artists, and songs, including both "best of" and "worst of" lists. TaJuan Akeem Perry (born May 7, 1975), better known by his stage name Big Noyd, is an American rapper from Queensbridge, Queens, New York. He is closely affiliated with Mobb Deep and is featured on all of their albums except '' Blood Money''. Career Big Noyd's debut was his verse on "Stomp 'Em Out" from Mobb Deep's 1993 debut '' Juvenile Hell'', but it was not until 1995, on Mobb Deep's album ''The Infamous'', that Big Noyd attracted wider attention. He appeared on "Right Back At You" & " Give Up the Goods (Just Step)". He explained later that he received his first contract, for $300,000, from Tommy Boy because of his verse on "Give Up The Goods (Just Step)". G-Unit (short for Guerilla Unit) was an American hip hop group formed by longtime friends and East Coast rappers 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks. After amassing a string of self-released mixtapes in the early 2000s, the group released their debut album '' Beg for Mercy'' in 2003, which went on to ship over four million copies in the US and was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
