Blaž Kocen
Blasius Kozenn ( sl, Blaž Kocen; 24 January 1821 in Hotunje, Lower Styria – 29 May 1871 in Hernals) was a Slovenian geographer and cartographer. He has occasionally been misidentified as Slovak. The name Kozenn was familiar to generations of former pupils in Austria-Hungary because Kozenn's school atlas was published in millions of copies in more than 100 editions and in many languages. It was one of the most commonly used atlases in the Austrian half of Austria-Hungary. Life Blasius Kozenn was born into a poor farming family in the village of Hotunje, not far from Ponikva. After attending elementary school in Ponikva, he attended the upper secondary school in Celje, where he was accepted through the efforts of his elementary school teacher. Blaž Rola (born 5 October 1990) is a Slovenian tennis player. His highest career ranking is No. 78 in singles and No. 186 in doubles. In his career, he has won nine singles and six doubles ITF Futures tournaments, five ATP Challenger in singles and eight in doubles. He represents Slovenia on the Slovenia Davis Cup team. Blaž Lorković (29 January 1839 – 17 February 1892) was a Croatian economist, lawyer, political and cultural worker, and the founder of Croatian political economy. Because of his contributions, the Republic of Croatia named its Order of Danica Hrvatska for business and economics after him. Biography Lorković was born in Jarče Polje near Karlovac in a rural family as the only child of Pavao and Julka Lorković. In 1851 he attends high school in Varaždin where he was noticed and in 1854 with the help and persuasion of his uncle, the parish priest in the village Rasinja near Koprivnice, he moved to Zagreb. He was located at the Episcopal orphanage. After completing high school education in October 1857 Lorković goest to clergy and enters the archdiocese seminary, deciding for priest's call to satisfy his parents and uncle. Blaž Lenger (December 6, 1919 - September 26, 2006) was a performer of traditional folk songs from northern Croatia, especially the region of Podravina. Biography and career He was educated in the village of Podravske Sesvete. From early childhood he was oriented towards music thanks to his mother and father whose love of music influenced him greatly. As soon as he was old enough, he started performing with the local musical group Vlašički. The first instrument he played was the accordion but he soon switched to bass (''bajs''), a rhythm instrument that matched his strong voice. Later he joined the Štef Ivančan music group in Novo Virje, where he gained enough experience to form his own group. His new group was named after him: Lengeri.
