''BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger'' is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works in 2008. The game's name is a combination of the words "blaze" and "blue" when the title is rendered in rōmaji, and of the words "brave" and "blue" when rendered in katakana. As Japanese people usually follow the katakana rendering, the Japanese prononciation is made similar to the word "bray", entirely omitting the "z" sound. Originally released for the arcades, it was also released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. A port for the PlayStation Portable, titled ''BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Portable'', was released in 2010. It was the first title in the ''BlazBlue'' game series and extended franchise. Aksys Games Localization, Inc. is a video game publisher that specializes in translating and localizing Japanese video games for English-speaking markets. It was founded by Akibo Shieh in 2006. Some of its clients include Bandai Namco Games, Xseed Games, and Atlus USA. Aksys Games is best known for its involvement in the ''Guilty Gear'' series. It has become a full-fledged game publisher with the announcement of '' Eagle Eye Golf'' for PlayStation 2, and has expressed a desire to publish for all current platforms from Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. Under Night In-Birth
is a 2D fighting game co-developed by Ecole Software and French-Bread. It received many updates for adjustments and characters. Gameplay The game has similar mechanics to ''Melty Blood'', ''Guilty Gear'' and ''BlazBlue''. It uses three attack buttons and a fourth one tied to the "GRD" meter. Attacks can cancel each other in any order, and into special and super moves. The Nintendo eShop is a digital distribution service powered by the Nintendo Network for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and by a dedicated online infrastructure for the Nintendo Switch. Launched in June 2011 on the Nintendo 3DS, the eShop was enabled by the release of a system update that added the functionality to the Nintendo 3DS's HOME Menu. It is the successor to both the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop. DSiWare
This is a list of games and applications, collectively known as DSiWare, for the Nintendo DSi handheld game console, available for download via the DSi Shop and unplayable on earlier DS models. An update released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011 added support for the Nintendo eShop service, which contained the DSi Shop's full library of DSiWare games (at the time) with the exception of certain games and applications. There were over 200 downloadable games available in North America as of August 2010.
