Bjørn Haug
Bjørn Haug (16 December 1928 – 8 April 2020) was a Norwegian jurist who held a number of appointed and elected positions. Biography He was born in Oslo. He worked in the Office of the Attorney General of Norway from 1959 to 1962 and in the private company Christiania Spigerverk from 1962 to 1972. He was then the Attorney General of Norway from 1972 to 1993, and also served as the State Conciliator of Norway, from January 1982 to January 1988. He was appointed to the European Free Trade Association Court in 1994, and served as its President from 1995 to 1999. From 1975 to 1981 he chaired the board of directors of the Norwegian National Opera. He has also been the auditor of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. In January 1956 he married judge Agnes Nygaard (born 1933). He was a son-in-law of Supreme Court Justice Marius Nygaard. Leif Sevón
Leif Jörgen Arvidsson Sevón (born 31 October 1941) is a Finland-Swedish jurist and judge. Biography Sevón holds a Licentiate in Laws degree from the University of Helsinki. His positions include a directorate at the Ministry of Justice, the presidency of the EFTA Court, a seat in the European Court of Justice, and an advisory position at the Ministry of Foreign Affair's Trade Directorate. He left the European Court in 2002 after his appointment as President of the Supreme Court of Finland. In 2005 he retired from the presidency of the Supreme Court. Agnes Nygaard Haug
Agnes Margrete Nygaard Haug (born 27 August 1933) is a Norwegian judge. She was born in Oslo as a daughter of Supreme Court Justice Marius Nygaard (1902–1978) and Eva Julie Johanne Christensen (1906–2000). Her great-grandfather was the academic Marius Nygaard, and she is also a grandniece of William Martin Nygaard and a second cousin of William Nygaard and Kristen Nygaard. Sven Ole Fagernæs (born 12 March 1945) is a Norwegian jurist and civil servant who was Attorney General of Norway from 1993 to 2015. Sven Ole Fagernæs was born in Oslo and got a cand.jur. degree from the University of Oslo in 1972. He worked for the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1973 to 1976 and in that period also shortly worked as a junior judge at the Indre Sogn magistrate. Marius Nygaard (judge)
Marius Nygaard (1 June 1902 – 27 March 1978) was a Norwegian judge. He enrolled as a student in 1920 and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1924. He worked as a deputy judge from 1925 to 1927, as a secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1927 to 1935 and an auxiliary judge from 1935 to 1936. He then worked as an assistant secretary in the Ministry of Justice from 1936 to 1945, and then as a deputy under-secretary of state from 1945. From 1949 to 1972 he served as a Supreme Court Justice. He chaired the Norwegian Association of Judges from 1953 to 1956, and was a board member of the Nordisk Administrativt Forbund from 1938 to 1949.
