Bishwa Prakash Sharma
Bishwa Prakash Sharma ( ne, विश्वप्रकाश शर्मा) is a Nepali politician. He is one of the two general secretaries of the Nepali Congress. Political career Sharma was elected general secretary along with Gagan Thapa in the 14th general convention of Nepali Congress. This was termed as rise of new generation in the oldest party of Nepal, the Nepali Congress. Sharma has served as spokesperson of the party. He has also served as the national president of the Nepal Student Union (NSU). Tribhuwan University
Tribhuvan University (TU; ne, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय) is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest university in Nepal. In terms of enrollment, it is the 12th largest university in the world. The college offers 1000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. 2022 Nepalese General Election
General elections are expected to be held in Nepal in November 2022 unless the House of Representatives is dissolved earlier. The discussion is underway due to interest of leading Nepali Congress while the opposition, CPN (UML), is already demanding a fresh mandate. Dissolution and reinstatement Although the House was dissolved on 20 December 2020 by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, with elections scheduled for 30 April and 10 May 2021, the legitimacy of the dissolution was challenged in the Supreme Court. On 23 February 2021, the court reinstated the House of Representatives, but it was dissolved again on 22 May 2021 by the president on the recommendation of the cabinet, with elections scheduled for 12 and 19 November, stating no one had adequate claim to be appointed prime minister according to Article 76(5) of the Constitution. Jhapa ( ne, झापा जिल्ला; ) is a district of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal named after a Rajbanshi word "Jhapa" meaning "to cover" (verb).
