Rubilen "Bingkay" Amit (born October 3, 1981) is a Filipino female professional pocket billiards (pool) player. Amit is the first Filipino woman to become a world pool champion. Biography Rubilen Amit was born in Mandaue, Cebu. Amit began playing during her teens, often tagging along with her father Bobby at the Super Bowl in Makati. In college, she studied accountancy at the University of Santo Tomas. She participated in and won the 2000 and 2001 College of Commerce and Business Administration's billiards tournaments. After graduating in 2004, Amit worked as a call center agent for a year. In 2005, she was accepted to the Philippine pool national team. However, in early 2013, Amit, along with other top Filipino pool players, was removed from the national team due to a controversial reorganization of the national team by the Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines. Kwan Poomjang
Suchakree "Kwan" Poomjang (born 2 January 1975) is a Thai former professional snooker player who spent three years on the sport's main tour between 2001 and 2004. He reached the final stages of a tournament once, at the 2002 UK Championship, and attained his highest ranking - 69th - for the 2003–04 season. Poomjang's younger brother, Dechawat Poomjaeng, also became a snooker player, and was active on the main tour between 2011 and 2017. Career Poomjang was born in 1975, and began playing snooker at competitive level as a wildcard entry in several Thailand Masters and Thailand Open tournaments in the late 1990s. Moh Keen Ho () is a Malaysian former professional snooker player. Career Moh turned professional in 2005, as the winner of the ACBS Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship. In his first season on the main tour, he entered four of the ranking tournaments, but was unable to win a match in any. At the Grand Prix, he was whitewashed 5–0 by Ryan Day, while at the UK Championship, he recovered a 0–3 deficit to lead Paul Davies 7–6, but eventually succumbed 7–9. In the Malta Cup, he lost 2–5 to Hugh Abernethy, and at the China Open, he again failed to win a frame, losing 5–0 to Scott MacKenzie. Passakorn Suwannawat (born 1 May 1986, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand) is a former Thai professional snooker player. Career Early career Suwannawat first turned professional in the 2006–07 season by winning the 2006 ACBS Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship. He dropped off the main tour after just one season. Suwannawat reached the final of the 2007 IBSF World Snooker Championship, losing to compatriot Atthasit Mahitthi. 2011/2012 He returned to the main tour in the 2011–12 season after winning the 2011 ACBS Asian Snooker Championship. James Wattana
James Wattana (; born January 17, 1970, as วัฒนา ภู่โอบอ้อม ''Wattana Pu-Ob-Orm'', then renamed รัชพล ภู่โอบอ้อม ''Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm'' in 2003) is a Thai former professional snooker player. Peter Gilchrist (born 1968 in Middlesbrough) is an English-born Singaporean English billiards player. He won the World Billiards Championship (English billiards) in 1994, 2001, and 2013 (long format), and 2019. Chezka Centeno (born June 30, 1999) is a Filipina professional pool player from Zamboanga City. Carlo Biado (born October 31, 1983) is a Filipino professional pool player. Early life Biado has roots in Rosario, La Union and/or Nueva Ecija. He started playing pool when he was age 13 and worked as a caddie at the Villamor Air Base golf course while he was still a student. After work he would play billiards in the evening. Johann Gonzales Chua is a Filipino professional pool player from Manila. His nickname is "Bad Koi". Early life Born and raised in Bacolod in the central Philippines, Chua began playing pool at the age of nine.
