Beta (The Walking Dead)
Beta is a fictional character in the comic book series '' The Walking Dead'' and the television series of the same name, where he was portrayed by Ryan Hurst. In both universes, Beta is the second-in-command of the Whisperers, a group of survivors who wear walker (zombie) skin to hide their presence from actual walkers. He serves as Alpha's right-hand man and after her death, becomes de facto leader of the Whisperers. Also in both universes, Beta is a famous celebrity before the apocalypse; in the comic books, he was a basketball player and an actor, and in the television series it was revealed in an episode of the companion series, '' Fear the Walking Dead'' (where Hurst made an uncredited cameo appearance), that he was a country musician as he was seen on the cover of an album that was released before the apocalypse, and it is later revealed in the main TV series that his stage name was "Half Moon". Ryan Hurst
Ryan Douglas Hurst (born June 19, 1976) is an American actor, known for his roles as Gerry Bertier in ''Remember the Titans'' (2000), Sgt. Ernie Savage in ''We Were Soldiers'' (2002), Tom Clarke in '' Taken'' (2002), Opie Winston in the FX drama series '' Sons of Anarchy'' (2008–2012), Chick Hogan in '' Bates Motel'' (2015–2017), Li'l "Foster" Farrell in '' Outsiders'' (2016–2017), Beta in '' The Walking Dead'' (2019–2020), and Hector Bonner in '' Bosch'' (2019–2021). Paul "Jesus" Monroe
Paul "Jesus" Monroe (known as Paul "Jesus" Rovia in the television series) is a fictional character from the comic book series '' The Walking Dead'', as well as the television series of the same name, where he is portrayed by Tom Payne. Jesus served as the ambassador for The Hilltop and frequently searches for new recruits. The recruiting process is largely motivated to help their community fight against Negan and the Saviors.
