"The Storm" is the sixteenth and final episode of the ninth season of the post-apocalyptic horror television series '' The Walking Dead'', which aired on AMC on March 31, 2019. Plot Several months after the massacre, winter has arrived and the Kingdom has fallen due to burst pipes, rot, and fires, and is unable to keep up its infrastructure. Ezekiel makes the decision to abandon the Kingdom, assembling a large caravan of the remaining survivors to seek out better shelter at the Hilltop, though not before he broadcasts their situation via radio to anyone who might be listening; Daryl, Michonne, and Yumiko help to escort them. Carol, later revealed as Carol Peletier in the television series, () is a fictional character from the comic book series '' The Walking Dead'', and the television series of the same name, where she is portrayed by Melissa McBride. Maggie Greene
Maggie Greene, later Maggie Rhee in the television series, is a fictional character from the comic book series '' The Walking Dead'', portrayed by Lauren Cohan in the television adaptation of the same name. In the comic book series, Maggie becomes the surrogate mother to Sophia following the suicide of the girl's mother, Carol. Michonne
Michonne ( ), later revealed as Michonne Hawthorne, is a fictional character from '' The Walking Dead''.
