Goldfinger is an American punk rock and ska punk band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. In their early years the band was considered a contributor to the movement of third-wave ska, a mid-1990s revitalization in the popularity of ska. However, the releases of '' Open Your Eyes'' and ''Disconnection Notice'' saw the band shed most of the ska influence, and they have been more commonly placed in the punk rock genre in later years. The Salads are a punk rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, with strong reggae tendencies. They are currently signed to their own label, Maui Wowie Records, after having been signed to Kindling Music, a sub-division of Warner Music Canada. History The band started under the name Lynx when its members were elementary school students at Kettleby Public School in King Township, Ontario. School friends, drummer Grant Taylor and guitarist Dave Ziemba, started the group and soon added bassist Chuck Dailey to become a trio. Darrin Pfeiffer
Darrin Michael Pfeiffer (born 1969) is an American musician, record producer, band manager and radio personality. He has played drums in the pop punk bands Goldfinger, Sum 41, and The Salads. Biography Pfeiffer was born in Akron, New York. He began his music career in the mid 1980s, when, as a teen, he was a part of a thrash metal band called ''Beyond Death''. The band's two other members went on to found the death metal band Cannibal Corpse in 1988. In 1994, Pfeiffer became a founding member and drummer of Goldfinger. Kelly Thomas LeMieux (born April 7, 1967 in Salem, Oregon, United States) is an American bass player. He is known for being the bassist of the band Goldfinger and his work in the Dave Mustaine project MD.45. He was the touring bass player for Los Angeles punk band Fear in 1997 and 1998. He has toured with Paul Gilbert and appeared on Gilbert's album ''Vibrato'', was a founding member of the Electric Love Hogs, a member of Shrine and 22 Jacks. Michael Arthur Herrera is an American singer, songwriter and musician best known as the lead vocalist, bassist and songwriter for the punk rock band MxPx. He is also the frontman of Tumbledown and the bassist of Goldfinger. Early life Herrera was born in Bremerton, Washington to Art and Michele Herrera and is of Mexican and English / Welsh descent. John Feldmann
John Feldmann (born June 29, 1967) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He serves as the lead singer/guitarist of the band Goldfinger. Early life Feldmann grew up in Saratoga, California. He started writing songs around the age of 13 or 14. Around that time, he met the band Social Distortion, and was inspired to be like them. Career Feldmann's first band was Saratoga-based Family Crisis. In 1988, he moved to Los Angeles, where he formed the band Electric Love Hogs and met future Goldfinger bassist Kelly LeMieux. New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Ünloco is an American nu metal band formed in Austin, Texas. History Ünloco was formed in 2000 by frontman vocalist Joey Dueñas, with Pete Navarrete on drums, Victor Escareño on bass, and Brian Arthur on guitar.
