Berryhill, Oklahoma
Berryhill is an unincorporated community in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, United States, west of Tulsa, and is approximately four square miles (10 km) in area. It is located south of the Arkansas River and north of West 41st Street South, and between South 71st West Avenue and South 47th West Avenue. The creeks tend to flow into Berryhill Creek before emptying into the Arkansas River, The most recognizable hill in the valley is Victory Hill, located just east and towering over the Berryhill Football Field. This hill is said to have significance to the earliest inhabitants of Berryhill. Cowbell Hill has been the scene of repeated fatal car accidents for travellers on South 49th West Avenue. Gilcrease Expressway
The Gilcrease Expressway is a highway in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, United States. It is part of the county's long-term plan to complete an outer highway loop around Tulsa's central business district. The highway will connect Interstate 44 (I-44) in West Tulsa to I-244 near the Tulsa International Airport. Route description Currently, the portion of freeway open to traffic is the section between North 41st West Avenue and Interstate 244. From US-75 to I-244/ US-412, the Gilcrease carries the easternmost part of State Highway 11. The currently existing freeway serves Tulsa International Airport and surrounding areas. Prattville is a community in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on SH-97. Prattville is located 10 miles west of Tulsa, and can be found on the south banks of the Arkansas River. History In 1945, approximately 4 houses and two small grocery stores were located north of 41st Street and east of Highway 97 in what was known as Garden Heights, now referred to as "old Prattville." Oklahoma State Highway 97
State Highway 97 (abbreviated SH-97) is a state highway, maintained by the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It connects two towns in the northeast part of the state: Sapulpa and Sand Springs. Several communities of West Tulsa are along the road between these two towns, including Pretty Water, Allen, and Prattville. SH-97 has existed since 1952.
