Beny Wahyudi
Beny Wahyudi (can also be spelled as Benny Wahyudi, born 20 March 1986) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Liga 2 club Deltras. Career Beny have been playing with the national squad since 2010. Shortly after another failure for the Indonesian team to win the 2016 AFF Championship, Beny, together with Boaz Solossa announced their intention for retirement from the national squad, citing due to the failure as well for their age factor. However, Boaz still disclosed his intention to retire, saying he want to discuss the matter with his family first while celebrating Christmas in his hometown of Sorong. Beny officially retired from the national team on 29 December 2016. 2016 AFF Championship
The 2016 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and officially known as the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016, was the 11th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The whole tournament ran from 19 November to 17 December 2016. Piala Indonesia ( 'Indonesia Cup') is the professional annual cup competition for football clubs in Indonesia. Originally, it started from the semi-professional football era in 1985 as Piala Liga, which ran until 1989 under Galatama competition. The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) organized the full professional cup competition from 2005 until now. Traditionally, the tournament involves all the clubs from the whole layers in football competitions in Indonesia, which are Liga 1, Liga 2, and Liga 3. The competition was founded in 2005. 2017 Indonesia President's Cup
2017 Indonesia President's Cup ( id, Piala Presiden 2017) was the second edition of the Indonesia President's Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The tournament was held from 4 February to 12 March 2017. In 2015 edition, Mahaka Sports and Entertainment designated as operator of the championship; this year's edition was held up by the control of the PSSI. The Piala Presiden (English: President's Cup) is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). It is participated by Liga 1 clubs. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. 2014 Indonesian Inter Island Cup
The 2014 Inter Island Cup was the final edition of the Indonesian Inter Island Cup, the football pre-season tournament of Indonesia. The date of the tournament was from 18 January 2014 to 1 February 2015. The final round was postponed to an unknown time because the police didn't give permission, concerning the vicious rivalries between the club's supporters. The 2009–10 Indonesia Super League was the second edition of this newly born competition (which replaced the Premier Division as the top rank of football system in the country. Persipura Jayapura were the defending champions, having won their first title in the previous season, or the second title if counting the Premier Division era, equalling the record for the most top league titles, along with Persik Kediri. Boaz Solossa
Boaz Theofilius Erwin Solossa (born 16 March 1986) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga 2 club Persipura Jayapura, on loan from Liga 1 club PSS Sleman. He is known for his efficient dribbling technique, shooting accuracy, and left-foot passing. Personal life Boaz was born in the Solossa family, a well-known family in the province of West Papua. His uncle, Jaap Solossa, was the governor of Papua before he died in 2005. Boaz was born in a footballing family as well, being the youngest of five children.
