Bennet Hundt
Bennet Hundt (born 20 August 1998) is a German professional basketball player for USC Heidelberg of the Basketball Bundesliga. He has represented Germany in several youth international tournaments. Early career Hundt grew up in Berlin. He began his youth career at TuS Lichterfelde, competing in the Jugend Basketball Bundesliga, the German under-16 league. In the 2014–15 season, he played for Dalton High School in Dalton, Georgia, where he was an exchange student. He lived with school board member Rick Fromm as his host family. After one year, Hundt joined Alba Berlin and split playing time between the main club in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroCup, and its affiliated ProB team, SSV Lokomotive Bernau. Professional career On 25 June 2019, Hundt signed a one-year contract with BG Göttingen of the BBL. The EuroBasket 2022 qualification was a basketball competition that was played from November 2017 to February 2021, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe nations who would join the automatically qualified co-hosts Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany at the EuroBasket 2022 finals tournament. Pre-Qualifiers The EuroBasket 2022 Pre-Qualifiers were played by 17 teams over three rounds. The best eight teams advanced to the EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers. First round The pre-qualifiers first round was played by nine teams: Five eliminated in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup pre-qualifiers, and four teams that did not enter in those qualifiers. The Germany men's national basketball team (german: Deutsche Basketballnationalmannschaft or ''Die Mannschaft'') represents Germany in international basketball competition. The 2019–20 Basketball Bundesliga, known as the easyCredit BBL for sponsorship reasons, was the 54th season of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), the top-tier level of professional club basketball in Germany, held from 24 September 2019 to 28 June 2020.
