Ben M. Baglio
Ben M. Baglio (born 1960 in New York City, U.S.) is an American author who created the brief for two series of children's books – '' Dolphin Diaries'' and ''Animal Ark''. ''Dolphin Diaries'' features a girl and her family from Florida, who travel around the world as marine biologists and study dolphins. ''Animal Ark'' features Mandy Hope, whose parents are vets; she helps injured animals and solves animal-related mysteries. The books were written by commissioned writers in the Canada under Baglio's instruction and published using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels in the UK. Each author is named with a 'Special Thanks' on the copyright page – see Dolphin in the Deep copyright page for an example. In the U.S., the books are published under the name of Ben M. Baglio so this name is effectively both a man born in 1960 and also the collective pseudonym for the group of writers who write the books. Using his pen name he also wrote the book series ''The Pet Finders Club'', featuring a grou ...

Jack Russell Terrier
The Jack Russell Terrier is a small terrier that has its origins in fox hunting in England. It is principally white-bodied and smooth, rough or broken-coated and can be any colour. Small tan and white terriers that technically belong to other breeds are sometimes known erroneously as "Jack Russells". Each breed has different physical characteristics according to the standards of their national breed clubs; size and proportions are often used to tell them apart. Some authorities recognize a similar but separate breed as the Russell Terrier – a shorter-legged, stockier dog, with a range of . However, the ''Fédération Cynologique Internationale'' (FCI) regards the Russell terrier as a sub-type of Jack Russell terrier. Gamebook
A gamebook is a work of printed fiction that allows the reader to participate in the story by making choices. The narrative branches along various paths, typically through the use of numbered paragraphs or pages. Each narrative typically does not follow paragraphs in a linear or ordered fashion. Gamebooks are sometimes called choose your own adventure books or CYOA after the influential ''Choose Your Own Adventure'' series originally published by US company Bantam Books. Gamebooks influenced hypertext fiction. Production of new gamebooks in the West decreased dramatically during the 1990s as choice-based stories have moved away from print-based media, although the format may be experiencing a resurgence on mobile and ebook platforms. Such digital gamebooks are considered interactive fiction or visual novels. Description Gamebooks range from branching-plot novels, which require the reader to make choices but are otherwise like regular novels at one end, to what amounts to "solit ...

Montgomery's Vermont Crossroads Press as the "Adventures of You" series, starting with Packard's ''Sugarcane Island'' in 1976. When Bantam, now owned by Random House, allowed the ''Choose Your Own Adventure'' trademark to lapse, the series was relaunched by Chooseco, which now owns the trademark. Chooseco does not reissue titles by Packard, who has started his own imprint, U-Ventures. Format Original ...
