Delaware Route 3 (DE 3) is a state highway northeast of the city of Wilmington in New Castle County, Delaware. The route runs from an interchange at Interstate 495 (I-495) in Edgemoor north to DE 92 in Hanbys Corner. The route passes through the suburban areas of Brandywine Hundred, Bellefonte, and Arden. New Castle is a city in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The city is located six miles (10 km) south of Wilmington and is situated on the Delaware River. Claymont station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor in Claymont, Delaware; Amtrak services do not stop here and the station is only served by SEPTA. It serves nine Amtrak train routes and is part of the Northeast Corridor.
