Baysangur of Benoy ( ce, Бенойн БойсхӀар;''Ш.А. ГАПУРОВ, А.В. БАКАШОВ''Вестник Академии наук Чеченской Республики. 2010, №1 (12). ) (born 1794, Benoy, Nozhay-Yurtovsky District, Chechen Republic, Benoy, Chechnya – died 3 March 1861, Khasavyurt, Chechnya) was a 19th-century North Caucasian commander of Chechens, Chechen origin . He was one of the naibs (deputies) of Shamil, 3rd Imam of Dagestan, Imam Shamil. Baysangur participated in the Caucasian War of 1817–1864. Biography Baysangur was born around 1794 in the aul of Benoy and belonged to the teip of Benoy from Edi Nek'e. In 1825-1826 Baysangur took part in the uprising led by Beibulat Taimiev. Imampasha Vakharbiyevich Alimsultanov ( ce, Алимсултанов Вахарбин кӏант Имампаша, translit=Alimsultanov Vaxarbin kӏant Imampaşa; ) (June 22, 1957 – November 10, 1996) was a popular Chechen bard and folk singer. Biography Alimsultanov was born to Chechen parents in the Kyrgyz SSR in 1957. His family, which belonged to the Zogoy teip, had been had been relocated as a result of the forced deportations of most Chechens and Ingush to Central Asia on February 23, 1944. His father, Vakharbi, was born in 1926 in the village of Bonay-Aul, located in the Aukhovsky District of central Dagestan, bordering Chechnya. Imam's mother, Aishat, loved him very much. After he was killed, her health started to deteriorate, but she recovered. She had 7 sons and one daughter named Iysita, who dutifully cared for her until she passed away in 2020 at the age of 92, having outlived her husband and five of her sons, including Imam. Abuzar was from the Alaroy teip (Kusha-Bukhoy branch) and spent his early childhood in his home village with his father Abdul-Khakim, mother Mukhazar and his several siblings.
