Bayan Knights
Bayan Knights is a List of superhero teams and groups, superhero team from the Philippines. Conceptualized by a group of comic book creators from different parts of the country (and some based overseas) as a collaboration to revitalize the Philippine comics, local Comics industry. As per the message posted in their official blog: ''Sacred Mountain Publications has gathered in this issue more than a dozen upbeat and talented creators along with their independent studios in one gigantic effort to encourage friendly cooperation and make it possible for these artists to turn their imaginations into reality.'' Bayan Knights is considered a benchmark in Philippine comics history as the first title to feature the characters of individual creators while retaining the individual rights to them. Edgar Tadeo
Edgar Entereso Tadeo is a Filipino comic book artist, born in Taytay, Rizal in November 1974. He is a colorist and inker, and practicing penciller. His works in coloring include '' High Roads'' with his friend Leinil Francis Yu, and ''District X'' and ''Silver Surfer'' for Marvel Comics. He primarily uses digital painting techniques. He was also involved in the coloring for three of the Pugad Baboy books which were produced in collaboration with the Alamat Comics group. Navotas
Navotas, officially the City of Navotas ( fil, Lungsod ng Navotas), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 247,543 people. It is known as the ''Commercial Fishing Hub of the Philippines'', for the city has the third largest fish port in Asia and the largest in Southeast Asia. Although it was established on December 20, 1827, Navotas celebrates its foundation day every January 16, the day in 1906 when it finally separated from Malabon. Navotas became a highly urbanized city on June 24, 2007. Etymology The entire region of Navotas was once part of Malabon. An amulet, also known as a good luck charm or phylactery, is an object believed to confer protection upon its possessor. The word "amulet" comes from the Latin word amuletum, which Pliny's ''Natural History'' describes as "an object that protects a person from trouble". Anything can function as an amulet; items commonly so used include statues, coins, drawings, plant parts, animal parts, and written words.
