Barry Maessen
Barry Maessen (born November 12, 1976 in Ysselsteyn) is a Dutch racecar driver. Maessen is the son of BriSCA F1 racer, circuit developer and entrepreneur Harry Maessen. The Dutch driver will be the first Dutch racing driver in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Racing career Oval racing After starting in motocross Maessen started his racing career in the Saloon stockcars and BriSCA F2. For the 2000 season the Dutch driver raced a Peugeot 205 in the Hot Rods class at the short oval of Raceway Venray. After winning the trackchampionship in 2001 Maessen switched to a Peugeot 206 for the 2002 season. The Dutch driver raced the Peugeot until 2008 when he switched to a Volkswagen Corrado until 2012. Volkswagen Corrado
The Volkswagen Corrado is a compact four passenger (2+2), three door, front-engine, front-wheel-drive liftback coupe marketed by Volkswagen from 1988 until 1995, and manufactured by Karmann in Osnabrück, Germany. 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series
The 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is the eleventh Racecar Euro Series season, and the seventh under the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series branding. Alon Day and Ulysse Delsaux entered the season as the defending champion in the Elite 1 and Elite 2 category respectively, however Delsaux will not defend his title as he will move up to Elite 1 for the 2019 season. Adria International Raceway
Adria International Raceway was a motorsport race track near Adria in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. It was a permanent road course, the venue has hosted the FIA GT Championship, Italian Formula Three, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and the Formula Three Euroseries. In 2021, the circuit shape was changed and the circuit length was extended to in order to host WTCR races in the 2021 season. In March 2022, the circuit was closed due to its debts. Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit in West Kingsdown, Kent, England, United Kingdom. Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as ''Circuit de Valencia'' and officially named ''Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo'', is a motorsport race track located in Cheste (Valencian Community, Spain) and built in 1999.
