Banteer GAA
Banteer GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which is based in the village of Banteer in the North West of County Cork, Ireland. The club plays hurling and is affiliated with Lyre Gaelic Football Club from the same parish. Founded in 1887, the club competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship. Banteer is a dual clubs, competing in a similar level in both football and hurling. However, the hurling team has experienced more success, winning the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship on 8 occasions, most recently in 2017. By comparison, the football team has won the Duhallow Junior A Football Championship on 3 occasions (2 under the name of Lyre), most recently in 2013. Brian Dillons GAA
Brian Dillons is one of the oldest Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Cork city in Ireland. It is named after the Irish Fenian, Brian Dillon and its original clubhouse ("the Hole in the Wall") was less than 100 metres from Dillon's home (in the eponymous Dillons Cross). 2021 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship
The 2021 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship was the second staging of the Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and the 133rd staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking hurling teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 29 April 2021. The championship began on 14 July 2021 and ended on 21 November 2021. Blackrock entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Midleton at the semi-final stage. Carrigtwohill were relegated from the championship after being beaten in a playoff by Charleville. The final was played on 21 November 2021 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, between Glen Rovers and Midleton, in what was their first meeting in a final in 30 years. Midleton won the match by 0-24 to 1-18 to claim their eighth championship title overall and a first title since 2013. Patrick Horgan was the championship's top scorer with 6-56. Charleville GAA
Charleville GAA club is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the town of Charleville, County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated with the Cork GAA county board and the Avondhu divisional board. History Charleville or Rathluirc GAA club was founded in 1888, and was drawn against Ballyhea in the championship that year. In 1914 the club had its first success winning the county Middle Grade ( Intermediate) hurling championship. In the early 1930s, after experiencing some lean years, the club decided to run street leagues for the whole parish initially at adult level and later at minor level. These games were often fiercely contested as the pride of a particular part of the town was at stake. In 1937 a separate club named Seán Clarach was set up to oversee the minor age group. Blackrock National Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located on the southside of Cork City, Ireland. The club was founded in 1883 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. No other Cork-based GAA club has won more Senior County Hurling titles or All-Ireland Club Championships. Tullylease GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Tullylease in the north-west of County Cork, Ireland which forms part of the parish of Milford, Freemount and Tullylease.
