Banga, Entebbe
Banga is a settlement in the city of Entebbe, in the Central Region of Uganda. Location Banga is located in the northwestern part of the city of Entebbe. Katabi is located to the northeast of Banga, Lunyo village is to the southeast and to the South of Banga. The Uganda Virus Research Institute lies to the south and southwest of Banga. The western portion of Banga, adjacent to the waters of Lake Victoria, is called ''Nakiwogo'' and is sometimes referred to as ''Banga-Nakiwogo''. Flag Of Uganda
The flag of Uganda ( Ugandan Languages: ''Bendera ya Uganda'') was adopted on 9 October 1962, the date that Uganda became independent from the British Empire. It consists of six equal horizontal bands of black (top), yellow, red, black, yellow, and red (bottom); a white disc is superimposed at the centre and depicts the national symbol, a grey crowned crane, facing the hoist's side. The Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) is a medical research institute owned by the Uganda government that carries out research on communicable diseases in man and animals, with emphasis on viral transmitted infections. Landmines
A land mine is an explosive device concealed under or on the ground and designed to destroy or disable enemy targets, ranging from combatants to vehicles and tanks, as they pass over or near it.
