Balaka Falls
Balaka Falls is a small tiered–cascade waterfall situated in the Greater Western Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the Hunts Creek in Yarralumla Wildlife Sanctuary in the City of Parramatta and is surrounded by suburbia, making it accessible for nearby residential areas. Geography Surrounded by a sclerophyll riparian forest and featuring sandstone rocks, the waterfall features two drops and is located on Hunts Creek. It is roughly a 30-minute drive from Sydney CBD and is situated between North Rocks and Carlingford in the northwestern suburbs. It is best visited after heavy rain events, when spectacular falls can be observed (although it is a permanent waterfall). Cumberland Highway
The Cumberland Highway is a long urban highway located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The highway links the Pacific Highway (A1/B83) and Pacific Motorway ( M1) at Pearces Corner, Wahroonga in the northeast with the Hume Highway (A22/A28) at Liverpool in the southwest. The entire length of Cumberland Highway is designated route A28. The name of the highway is derived from the Cumberland Plain and Cumberland County. The M2 is a route in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, that links Sydney suburbs from Artarmon in the south-east to Bella Vista in the north-west. The route consists of two separately named motorways, the M2 Hills Motorway and the Lane Cove Tunnel. The M2 route replaces the motorway sections of what was known as Metroad 2 from 1993 to 2013, with the non-motorway sections replaced by the A2 route (made up of Windsor Road and Old Windsor Road). North Rocks is a suburb in the Hills District, New South Wales, Hills District within Greater Western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, located 26 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district.
