Baby Stafford
Baby Stafford (born Stephen Stafford) is a musician and founder member of the band 'Baby Stafford'. He originally played in the Scottish rock band Gun in the late 1980s. Gun went on to support The Rolling Stones on tour. Biography On leaving Gun Stafford went on to form the band 'Raindog'. However, this clashed with the name of an existing band, and after using several different names (including 'Kate' and 'Babylon Drive'), the guitarist came under record company and management pressure to use his own nickname for recording and playing live. Initially the band 'Baby Stafford' was composed of Stafford on lead guitar and vocals, Paul Roden (ex-'Wild River Apples') on bass, and fellow former Gun member Scott Shields on drums. The band signed to EMI and Buddy Rennie completed the band's line-up as rhythm guitarist. In 1994, the band toured as support act to both Skin and Gun. Gun (band)
Gun are a Scottish hard rock band from Glasgow. The band currently consists of brothers Dante Gizzi (lead vocals) and Giuliano "Jools" Gizzi (guitar), along with Paul McManus (drums), Andy Carr (bass) and Tommy Gentry (guitar). Starting in 1989 with ''Taking on the World'', Gun have released seven studio albums, three of which have made the UK Top 20, and had eight UK Top 40 hit singles. The most successful of these was a cover of Cameo's " Word Up!", which reached the top 10 in 1994. Fronted by Mark Rankin for their first four albums, the band disbanded in 1997, but reformed in 2008 with Little Angels singer Toby Jepson taking over lead vocals. Skin were a British hard rock band active during the 1990s who reformed in 2009, only to disband again in 2013.
