Babis Intzoglou
Babis Intzoglou ( el, Μπάμπης Ιντζόγλου; born 1 April 1949) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Intzoglou started football at a youth level with AE Nikaia and signed his first professional deal in 1965 at Ionikos. In 1969, he played in the first division with Panionios, where his older brother Thanasis was playing Throughout his tenure with Panionios he assisted in securing the 1971 Balkans Cup for Panionios by defeating Besa Kavajë. Throughout his tenure with Panionios he featured in the 1969–70 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, and the 1971–72 UEFA Cup, where they eliminated Atlético Madrid. In the summer of 1975 he played abroad in the Canadian National Soccer League with Toronto Homer. In the summer of 1976, he signed for AEK Athens. Nikaia, Attica
Nikaia ( el, Νίκαια, ''Níkaia''), known before 1940 as Kokkinia (, ''Kokkiniá''), is a suburb of Piraeus, in the southwestern part of the Athens Urban Area, Greece. 1971–72 UEFA Cup
The 1971–72 UEFA Cup was the inaugural year of the UEFA Cup (now known as the UEFA Europa League), which effectively replaced the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. It was won by English side Tottenham Hotspur F.C., Tottenham Hotspur over their countrymen Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., Wolverhampton Wanderers 3–2 on aggregate after a two-legged final. The 1976–77 UEFA Cup was the sixth season of the UEFA Cup, a club association football, football competition organised by UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations). František Fadrhonc
František Fadrhonc (18 December 1914 – 9 October 1981) was a Czech football manager, who was born in Nymburk, Austria-Hungary, present day Czech Republic. He coached many teams in Europe, mostly in the Netherlands. After winning the Dutch championship with Willem II Tilburg in 1952 and 1955, he coached SC Enschede and Go Ahead Eagles. In 1970, he took over the Netherlands national team and was their coach as they qualified for the 1974 FIFA World Cup, besting, among others, their rivals Belgium. However, it was Rinus Michels who took over in 1974 and who led them in the finals of that tournament. Fadrhonc left the Netherlands for Greece to coach AEK Athens in the 1975–76 football season. He stayed until 1977. During that period, he led AEK to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the 1977.
