Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রীড়া শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান, Bangladesh Institute of Sports Education) is the national sports institute of Bangladesh. It is residential and is located at Savar, about north-west of the capital, Dhaka, and about north of the National Martyrs' Memorial. It is a government-funded autonomous institution. History and management Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan was established in 1986 with the objective of developing sports in Bangladesh. BKSP is run by a Board of Governors, which is headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports. Brigadier General Anwar Shadat Abu Md Fuad is the Director General of BKSP. Education Students at BKSP receive a general education as well as specialized sports training. The education extends from secondary school level to university degree level. Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan football team ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রীড়া শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান ফুটবল দল) is a football team from Bangladesh, which represents the national sports academy, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, and began playing professional football in Bangladesh by taking part in the 2018–19 Dhaka Second Division Football League, which is the fourth tier in Bangladesh. The team consists of players under the age of 18, and has produced many professional footballers that have went onto play for the Bangladesh national football team and youth national teams. History BKSP's football a activities started from 1986 with only 30 trainees and 2 coaches. 2021–22 Dhaka Second Division Football League
The 2021–22 Dhaka Second Division Football League, also known as Bashundhara Group Second Division Football League for sponsorship reasons, was the 6th edition of the league. A total of 18 teams, divided into two groups of nine teams, participating in the league. The winner of the league is promoted to Senior Division League. 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League
The 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was the sixth edition of the tournament with List A status, although almost 35 seasons have been played before achieving the status. It started on 8 March, and concluded on 23 April 2019. Directly before the List A tournament started, the inaugural edition of the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League took place, featuring the same twelve teams. Abahani Limited were the defending champions. They won the tournament, finishing ahead of Legends of Rupganj on net run rate. Asif Hossain Khan
Mohammad Asif Hossain Khan ( bn, আসিফ হোসেন খান) is a Bangladeshi shooter. He won the gold medal at 2002 Commonwealth Games in 10 m Air Rifle and repeated his success in the 2004 SAF games by winning gold in the same event. On October 2, 2006 he was brutally beaten by the local police of Bangladesh, injuring both of his arms. His son, Mashrur, currently resides in Costa Rica with wife Natalie. Bikrampur Kings ( bn, বিক্রমপুর কিংস) is a Bangladeshi football club based in Bikrampur, present day Munshiganj. It currently competes in the Dhaka Second Division Football League, the fourth tier of Bangladeshi football. History In 2019, two businesses person Samrat Mohim Talukdar and Farhad Hossain established Bikrampur Kings. The name derived from Munshiganj District, historically known as Bikrampur, which is an old region in Bengal and was a part of the Bhawal Estate. The clubs founder was businessman Samrat Mohim Talukdar, while Bashundhara owned outfit Bashundhara Kings, also had a major part in the clubs formation.
