Mohammad Naeem Islam ( bn, মোহাম্মদ নাঈম ইসলাম; born 31 December 1986) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He was born on 31 December 1986 in Gaibandha and is a right-handed batsman and occasional off break bowler. Domestic career He made his debut for Rajshahi Division in 2004/05 and played through the 2006/07 season, after having represented the full range of Bangladesh representative youth teams and went on to make his international debut on 9 October 2008 against New Zealand. He has scored seven centuries and 17 fifties in first-class cricket as of December 2011, with a best of 136 against Barisal Division. He was the leading run-scorer for Legends of Rupganj in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, with 720 runs in 16 matches. Gaibandha
Gaibandha ( bn, গাইবান্ধা) is a town and district headquarters of Gaibandha District in northern Bangladesh. It is a centre of commerce and trade of the Gaibandha District and is located under the Rangpur Division. The area of the city is approximately 10.54 square kilometres. It consists of nine wards. It is certified as a "ka" (A) category Paurasava(municipality). Name The city is named after its eponymous district. There are two opinions about the name of Gaibandha. 2018–19 National Cricket League
The 2018–19 National Cricket League was the twentieth edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 1 October 2018, with eight teams placed into two tiers. Khulna Division were the defending champions. The opening round of matches saw a total of thirteen centuries made by twelve different batsman, the first time this had happened at the start of a cricket tournament in Bangladesh. Round four of the tournament produced the two narrowest victories in the history of the NCL, with Sylhet Division winning their match against Dhaka Metropolis by three runs, and Rangpur Division beating Barisal Division by five runs. Rajshahi Division won the tournament, to claim their sixth title in the competition, after beating Barisal Division by six wickets in the final round of matches. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) ( bn, বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লীগ) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league consisting of seven franchises. Daniel Raymond Flynn (born 16 April 1985) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played for Northern Districts and has also represented the New Zealand international side. Rafiqul Alam ( bn, রফিকুল আলম) (born 4 October 1957) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer who played in two One Day Internationals in the 1986 Asia Cup. In his debut match against Pakistan he scored 14. He followed this with 10 against Sri Lanka. In ICC Trophy He was a member of the Bangladesh team that took part in the 2nd ICC Trophy tournament in England. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours.
