BC Nybit
Triobet/Dalkia (also known as Nybit) was an Estonian professional basketball club founded in 1992 and dissolved in 2008. The club played in the Estonian Korvpalli Meistriliiga. The team won 1 Estonian Cup. The team played its home games at Audentes Sports Center. History Founded in 1992 as Dublant, the team changed its name to Nybit in 1993. In 1998, the team won the Estonian Basketball Cup. Nybit reached the Korvpalli Meistriliiga finals in the 1998–99 KML season and the 2003–04 KML season but failed to win the title. In 2007, the team changed its name to Triobet/Dalkia. The team was dissolved in 2008. Korvpalli Meistriliiga
The Korvpalli Meistriliiga ( en, Basketball Champions League), known as the OlyBet Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier level and most important professional basketball league in Estonia. It is controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. The first Estonian Basketball Championship tournament was held in 1925. During Soviet era (1941–1991) the league was called the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic Championship. After Estonia regained its independence in 1991, the league was reformed as the Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML). The KML, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of eight teams. The current KML champions are Pärnu who won their first Estonian Championship in the 2022 KML Play-offs. The Estonian Cup ( et, Eesti karikas), also known as the Paf SuperCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual cup competition for Estonian basketball teams. It is organized by the Estonian Basketball Association. Until the 2000–01 season, the cup tournament was held in the end of the season in spring.
