Béco Dranoff
Béco Dranoff (born August 1963 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian-American music producer and creative Brazilian music events and film producer and co-founder of the Ziriguiboom Discos music label. Early career Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Dranoff began as a Music Programmer in the mid-1980s at Jovem Pan II FM radio, and in-house producer at the 150 Jazz Club (Maksoud Plaza Hotel) and Projeto SP. Dranoff worked with local and international talent to produce shows that earned national acclaim at these prestigious music venues. In 1988, Dranoff obtained a bachelor's degree in Mass Media/Communications from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo, and relocated to New York City. There he founded Artmosphere, Inc. a talent agency that exclusively represented and promoted Brazilian artists. Studio System by Gracenote, formerly known as Baseline StudioSystems, is an American e-commerce company. It was founded in 1982 and licenses its commercial entertainment database, known as Studio System. It is owned by Gracenote, a subsidiary of Nielsen Holdings. Trio Mocotó
Trio Mocotó is a Brazilian band, originally formed in 1968 in the Jogral nightclub in São Paulo, and reformed in 2000. The group was influential in forming the musical style that became known as samba rock or sambalanço. In 1969, they were backing Jorge Ben, being featured on seminal albums ''Fôrça Bruta'', ''Negro É Lindo'' and ''A Tábua de Esmeralda''. In 1971, they had a hit with the single "Coqueiro Verde" (written by Erasmo Carlos). Zuco 103 is a Dutch musical ensemble which plays music chiefly in the styles of the music of Brazil. The ensemble was initially founded under the name Rec.a in 1989 by students at the Rotterdam Conservatory. They graduated in 2015 from the Royal College of Art in London. Celso Fonseca (born November 15, 1956) is a Brazilian composer, producer, guitarist and singer. He is noted as part of the Música popular brasileira since the 1980s, initially as accompanist and composer, then producer, and since the mid–1990s as an artist in his own right. Celso Fonseca was born in Rio de Janeiro. He began on guitar at age 12 and by 19 dedicated himself to music as a profession. He counts Baden Powell de Aquino as an influence. She is the daughter of João Gilberto and singer Miúcha. Her uncle is singer/composer Chico Buarque. Early life Gilberto was born in New York City to Brazilian parents, bossa nova pioneer João Gilberto and singer Miúcha, who were briefly living in the city at the time of her birth.
