Norwegian ( no, norsk, links=no ) is a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Norway, where it is an official language. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties; some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close. These Scandinavian languages, together with Faroese and Icelandic as well as some extinct languages, constitute the North Germanic languages. Skatebård
Skatebård is the pseudonym of the Norwegian DJ and producer Bård Aasen Lødemel. Skatebård was born in 1976 in Harstad, grew up in Hovdebygda, but has since relocated to Bergen. Skatebård is well known for being a part of the hip-hop act Side Brok formed together with Sjef R and Thorstein Hyl III, but he is also a notable electronic artist who generally fits into the Italo disco genre. Bård Ylvisåker
Ylvis () are a Norwegian comedy duo consisting of brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker. They debuted as professional variety artists in 2000 and have since appeared in several countries in variety shows, comedy concerts, television shows, radio shows and music videos. They hosted the Norwegian talk show (''Tonight with Ylvis'') (2011–2016). Their song and music video "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)", written and filmed for the talk show, went viral on YouTube in September 2013. The video currently has over 1 billion views . Bård Torstensen
Bård Torstensen (born 13 September 1961) is a Norwegian guitarist and record producer, best known as a founder and longtime member of the rap metal band Clawfinger. Torstensen also plays guitar in the ice skate-country band Melkesyra and the jazz/metal band Okavango, both of which are from his home town. Before founding Clawfinger in 1990 with Zak Tell (lead vocals), Jocke Skog (keyboards) and Erlend Ottem (guitar), he and Ottem played in a local band named Theo. This band made only one single and one LP, ''The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly'' (1988). Torstensen is a known activist in his home town Arendal, and is engaged in preserving his community Barbu by working to stop new building plans. Bård Martin Mikkelsen (born 31 May 1948) is a Norwegian businessperson. He has been the chief executive officer of Widerøe (1988–1997), the Ulstein Group (1997–1999), Oslo Energi Holding (1999–2001) and Statkraft (2001–2010). Biography He was born in Oslo, but grew up in Sarpsborg, in the neighborhood Hafslund. His father spent his career in the company Hafslund. Bård Løken (born 6 February 1964 in Vadsø) is a Norwegian photographer, living in Elverum. He has worked as a photographer since 1985. Bård Lappegård Lahn (born 26 May 1983 in Stange, Norway) is a Norwegian environmentalist and writer. He is a researcher at CICERO Center for international climate research in Oslo, with a research focus on climate politics, sociology, and Science and Technology Studies. He has previously worked as an adviser on international climate policy in the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature, and from 2006 to 2008 he was chairman of the environmental NGO Natur og Ungdom.
