Sejm
The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of Poland. The Sejm has been the highest governing body of the Third Polish Republic since the transition of government in 1989. Along with the upper house of parliament, the Senate, it forms the national legislature in Poland known as National Assembly ( pl, Zgromadzenie Narodowe). The Sejm is composed of 460 deputies (singular ''deputowany'' or ''poseł'' – "envoy") elected every four years by a universal ballot. The Sejm is presided over by a speaker called the "Marshal of the Sejm" (''Marszałek Sejmu''). In the Kingdom of Poland, the term "''Sejm''" referred to an entire two-chamber parliament, comprising the Chamber of Deputies ( pl, Izba Poselska), the Senate and the King. Łukasz Schreiber
Łukasz Paweł Schreiber (born 26 May 1987 in Bydgoszcz) is a Polish politician and former chess champion affiliated with the conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party. The son of Grzegorz Schreiber, he has been a member of the Sejm from Bydgoszcz since 2015. Schreiber has served as a minister without portfolio in the second Morawiecki government since 2019. The Polish People's Party ( pl, Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe, PSL) is an agrarian political party in Poland. It is currently led by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Its history traces back to 1895, when it held the name People's Party, although its name was changed to the present one in 1903. During the Second Polish Republic, the Polish People's Party was represented by a number of parties that held its name. Eugeniusz Kłopotek
Eugeniusz Kłopotek (born 15 November 1953 in Chojnice, Poland) is a Polish politician who is a member of the Sejm of Poland (1997-2005 and since 2007), member of the European Parliament (2004) and member of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Regional Assembly (2006-2007). Modern (political Party)
Modern ( pl, Nowoczesna, styled as ".Nowoczesna") is a centrist political party in Poland. It is currently led by Adam Szłapka. It was formed in 2015 as "ModernPL" although due to controversy it had to change the name to ".Modern" later that year. Its first president Ryszard Petru served until 2017, when he was succeeded by Katarzyna Lubnauer. It first gained seats in the 2015 parliamentary election, and in 2018 it joined the Civic Coalition to participate together in the local elections. Szłapka was elected as president in 2019. Kukiz'15
Kukiz'15 is a right-wing populist political party in Poland led by Paweł Kukiz. It was formed in 2015 as a loose movement that registered itself as an association in 2016 and later as a political party in 2020. Initially, it was connected with far-right parties such as National Movement although since 2016 they have moderated its political outlook. During the 2018 local elections, it coordinated with the socially conservative Right Wing of the Republic and in 2019 they joined the Polish Coalition. Due to its eurosceptic stances, its membership was terminated from the coalition and in May 2021 they announced their support for the ruling United Right coalition. Krzysztof Brejza (born 16 May 1983 in Bydgoszcz, Poland) is a Polish politician, currently serving as Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, representing the Bydgoszcz district.
