Paweł Olszewski (politician)
Paweł Bartosz Olszewski (born 11 December 1979 in Bydgoszcz, Poland) is a Polish economist and politician, Bydgoszcz City Councillor (2002–05) and member of the Sejm (since 2005). Early life and career He graduated from Florian Kaja Elementary School No. 32 in Bydgoszcz and Cyprian Norwid Secondary School No. 1 in Bydgoszcz. Afterward, he studied management and marketing (economy policy specialization) in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. After his studies, he worked as an export manager at Bydgoska Fabryka Mebli (''Furniture Factory in Bydgoszcz''). After 2004, he worked as a procurator at Zakłady Mechaniczne Skraw-Mech Sp. z o.o. (''LLC''). After being elected to the Sejm in 2005, he resigned from this work. Sejm Of The Republic Of Poland
The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of Poland. The Sejm has been the highest governing body of the Third Polish Republic since the transition of government in 1989. Along with the upper house of parliament, the Senate, it forms the national legislature in Poland known as National Assembly ( pl, Zgromadzenie Narodowe). The Sejm is composed of 460 deputies (singular ''deputowany'' or ''poseł'' – "envoy") elected every four years by a universal ballot. The Sejm is presided over by a speaker called the "Marshal of the Sejm" (''Marszałek Sejmu''). Zawisza Bydgoszcz
Zawisza Bydgoszcz () is a sports club from Bydgoszcz, Poland, founded in 1946. Its name commemorates a legendary Polish 15th-century knight, Zawisza Czarny (Zawisza the Black). The club holds many sections: football, track and field athletics, boxing, rowing, canoeing, weightlifting, gymnastics, shooting, and parachuting ones. History The team was founded in 1946, as a military-sponsored club in Koszalin, although they only played friendly matches initially. When the army headquarters moved to Bydgoszcz a year later in 1947 the club followed. The football team has achieved some successes, playing for several years in the Polish First Division, first winning promotion in 1961. They reached the semi-finals of the Polish Cup in 1991 and competed in 1993 Intertoto Cup. Zawisza was relegated from the Second Level to the Fourth Level in the 1997–98 season.
