FărcaÈ™a ( hu, Farkasaszó) is a Commune in Romania, commune in MaramureÈ™ County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: BuzeÈ™ti (''Szamosújfalu''), FărcaÈ™a, Sârbi (''Oláhtótfalu''), and Tămaia (''Tomány''). The commune is located in the western part of the county, on the border with Satu Mare County. It lies on the right bank of the river SomeÈ™, at a distance of from the county seat, Baia Mare. At the 2011 census, FărcaÈ™a had a population of 4,015. Of those, 95.64% were Romanians, ethnic Romanians and 1.54% Romani people in Romania, Roma.
