Bush Dumville
Stanley Forrest (Bush) Dumville (born January 6, 1945) is a Canadian politician, who represented the electoral district of West Royalty-Springvale in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 2007 to 2019. First elected in the 2007 Prince Edward Island general election as a member of the Prince Edward Island Liberal Party, he left the party to sit as an independent on January 31, 2018. He ran for reelection in the 2019 Prince Edward Island general election in the redistributed riding of Charlottetown-West Royalty, but was defeated by Liberal Gord McNeilly. 2019 Prince Edward Island General Election
The 2019 Prince Edward Island general election was held to elect the members of the 66th General Assembly of Prince Edward Island. The vote in 26 of the 27 districts was held on 23 April 2019, while the vote for the member from Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park was deferred to 15 July due to the death of the Green Party's candidate. However, Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park still voted in a referendum on electoral reform. Natalie Jameson won the deferred election in the riding. The Progressive Conservatives under new leader Dennis King won thirteen seats (including deferred seat) to form a minority government. The Greens under leader Peter Bevan-Baker won eight seats to form the Opposition. The Liberals under Premier Wade MacLauchlan were reduced to six seats and MacLauchlan lost in his own district. The 2007 Prince Edward Island general election was held on May 28, 2007. It elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The incumbent Progressive Conservative government was defeated by the Liberal opposition after holding power for eleven years. Summerside is a Canadian city in Prince County, Prince Edward Island. It is the second largest city in the province and the primary service centre for the western part of the island.
