Brookston is a city in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States; located along the Saint Louis River, opposite the mouth of the Artichoke River. The population was 118 at the 2020 census. The Cloquet River is a , accessed May 7, 2012 river in Minnesota, United States. It is the main tributary of the Saint Louis River. Minnesota State Highway 33 (MN 33) is a state highway in northeast Minnesota, which runs from its interchange with Interstate 35 (I-35) at Cloquet and continues to its northern terminus at its interchange with U.S. Highway 53 (US 53) at Independence. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
