Burlington County Scholastic League
The Burlington County Scholastic League (BCSL) is a New Jersey high school sports conference under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA). The league consists of nineteen public and parochial high schools covering Burlington County (Doane Academy), Mercer County (Trenton Catholic Academy, and STEMCivics Purplefect Palace High School), Ocean County (New Egypt High School) in central New Jersey and Camden County (Pennsauken High School). Doane Academy
Doane Academy is a coeducational, independent day school for grades from Pre-K to 12 located in Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. Originally called St. Mary's Hall, it was founded in May 1837 by Episcopal Bishop George Washington Doane, initially as an Episcopal girls' boarding school, the first in the United States to offer a classical academic education. In 1955 affiliation with the diocese was severed. In 1966 a boys' school, known as Doane Academy, was built on campus. The schools were merged in 1974 as St. Mary's Hall-Doane Academy. Delran Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 16,896, reflecting an increase of 1,360 (+8.8%) from the 15,536 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 2,358 (+17.9%) from the 13,178 counted in the 1990 Census. Delran High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Delran Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Delran Township School District. History Starting in 1954 and continuing into the 1970s, students from Delran Township attended Riverside High School as part of sending/receiving relationships, along with those from Delanco Township.
