Burel Hill
Burel Hill ( bg, text=хълм Бурел, italic=no, ‘Halm Burel’ \'h&lm 'bu-rel\) is an ice-free hill rising in the northwest part of Desolation Island (South Shetland Islands), Desolation Island off Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It surmounts Kozma Cove to the east, and Hero Bay to the south and southwest. The hill is named after the Burel region in Western Bulgaria. Location Burel Hill is located at , which is north-northwest of Iratais Point and south-southeast of Cape Danger. It was mapped in 1968 by the British, and in 2005 and 2009 by Bulgaria. Maps * L.L. Burel Valley ( bg, Бурелска котловина, Burelska kotlovina) is a Sub-Balkan Valley in western Bulgaria. The valley is limited by the western branches of Chepan Mountain (part of the Balkan Mountains) to the north, Zavalska Mountain and Viskyar to the south and Greben Mountain (in Serbia Serbia (, ; Serbian language, Serbian: , , ), officially the Republic of Serbia (Serbian language, Serbian: , , ), is a landlocked country in Southeast Europe, Southeastern and Central Europe, situated at the crossroads of the Pannonian Bas ...) to the west. Clara Burel (; born 24 March 2001) is a French tennis player. On 21 February 2022, she peaked at No. 74 in the WTA singles rankings. In singles, she reached two Grand Slam junior finals and won two silver medals at the Youth Summer Olympics. In 2018, she became the junior world No. 1. Junior career In 2018, Burel reached the junior singles final at three major events, the Australian Open, the US Open and the Youth Summer Olympics (YOG). Partnering with compatriot Hugo Gaston, she also won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the YOG. In October, Burel qualified for the ITF Junior Masters, where she captured her first major title. Léonce-Henri Burel (23 November 1892 – 21 March 1977) was a French cinematographer whose career extended from the silent era until the early 1970s.
