The First Buhl cabinet was the government of Denmark from 4 May 1942 to 9 November 1942. Vilhelm Buhl
Vilhelm Buhl (16 October 1881 – 18 December 1954) was Prime Minister of Denmark from 4 May 1942 to 9 November 1942 as head of the ''Unity Government'' (the Cabinet of Vilhelm Buhl I) during the German occupation of Denmark of World War II, until the Nazis ordered him removed. He was Prime Minister again from 5 May 1945 to 7 November 1945 as head of a unity government (the ''Cabinet of Vilhelm Buhl II'') after the liberation of Denmark by the British Field Marshal Montgomery. Vilhelm Buhl was a member of the Social Democrats. He joined the party while a law student at the University of Copenhagen. Buhl held the post of Finance Minister in the cabinets of Thorvald Stauning from 20 July 1937 to 4 May 1942. Søren Brorsen
Søren Brorsen (1875–1961) was a Danish politician who was a member of Venstre. He was the minister of defence for three terms in the periods 1922–1924, 1926–1929 and 1940–1943. Biography Brorsen was born in Nørre Farup on 1 July 1875. He was owner of a farm and a member of the Parliament for Venstre between 1907 and 1929 and again between 1932 and 1945. Gunnar Larsen (politician)
Gunnar Larsen (1902–1973) was a Danish chemical engineer, businessman and politician. He served as the minister for transport between 1940 and 1943. He left Denmark in 1954 and exiled into Ireland where he lived until his death. Biography Larsen was born on 10 January 1902. He was an engineer by profession and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology obtaining a degree in chemical engineering in 1926. He was named as the director of FL Smidth & Co. in 1935 becoming a prominent figure in the Danish industry. Larsen replaced his father as the director of the company. Larsen was one of the confidantes of Danish politician Erik Scavenius. He resigned from the company on 8 July 1940 when he was appointed minister of transport. Knud Kristensen
Knud Kristensen (26 October 1880 – 28 September 1962) was Prime Minister of Denmark from 7 November 1945 to 13 November 1947 in the first elected government after the German occupation of Denmark during World War II. After the October 1945 election, Knud Kristensen formed the Cabinet of Knud Kristensen ( da, Regeringen Knud Kristensen), a minority government consisting only of his liberal party ( da, Venstre).
