Demographics As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,767 people, 744 households, and 423 families residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 71.40% White, 14.80% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.55% Asian, 11.59% from other races, and 1.61% from two or more races.
