O Morrazo
O Morrazo (in Galician do Morrazo es, El Morrazo) is a ''comarca'' in the Galician province of Pontevedra. It covers an area of 140.1 sq.km, and the overall population of this ''comarca'' was 83,305 at the 2011 Census; the latest official estimate (as at the start of 2018) was 82,445.Estimate at 1 January 2018: Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Madrid. Ons Island
The Ons Island ( gl, Illa de Ons; es, Isla de Ons) is the main island of a small archipelago in the Ria de Pontevedra in Galicia, Spain. Ons belongs administratively to the municipality of Bueu, which has a regular ferry boat connection to the island, as have the mainland towns of Portonovo, Sanxenxo, Marín and Aldán. In 2020, lightning due to Subtropical Storm Alpha started a forest fire. Moaña
Moaña is a municipality of 18,709 inhabitants located in Galicia, Spain in the province of Pontevedra. It is one of the five municipalities with Bueu, Cangas do Morrazo, Marin and Vilaboa that forms the peninsula of O Morrazo. This peninsula separates the Ria of Vigo from the Ria of Pontevedra. The coast of Moaña has several beaches and the area combines tourism with traditional seafood production. The surrounding sea contains sea farms where mussels, oysters and other species are cultivated and it is an idyllic place for practicing sea sports activities.
