Wofford Oran "Buddy" Stephens Jr. is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at East Mississippi Community College, where he has won five NJCAA national championships and coached players such as NFL players Chad Kelly, Jarran Reed and Dakota Allen. With an overall record of 133-21, Stephens is the NJCAA all-time leader in winning percentage (.864). Jarran Reed
Jarran Kentrel Reed (born December 16, 1992) is an American football defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Alabama, and was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He also played one season each for the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. ''Last Chance U'' is an American documentary streaming television series that is produced and premiered by Netflix. The six-episode first season explores the football program at East Mississippi Community College, which features several collegiate athletes that have had trouble in their lives and struggled with finding structure. The players are then required to perform at the junior college (JUCO) level, under the stewardship of coach Buddy Stephens, in order to prove themselves and return to Division I.
