Bud Foster
Robert Eugene "Bud" Foster Jr. (born July 28, 1959) is a retired American college football coach and former player. He currently serves as a Special Assistant to Athletics Director Whit Babcock. Following the 2006 season, he received the Frank Broyles Award, which is annually given to the top assistant coach in college football. Foster's 2005 and 2006 Hokie defenses led the nation in total defense. Foster is regarded as one of the best defensive coordinators in college football. On August 1, 2019, Foster announced he was retiring at the end of the 2019 season. Virginia Tech Hokies
The Virginia Tech Hokies are the athletic teams representing the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in intercollegiate athletics. The Hokies participate in the NCAA's Division I Atlantic Coast Conference in 22 varsity sports. Virginia Tech's men's sports are football, basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, and wrestling. Roger Brown (defensive Back)
Roger W. Brown, Jr. (born on December 16, 1966) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). He graduated from the Cardinal Gibbons School in 1986, where he letter in football. He attended college at Virginia Tech and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the eighth round of the 1990 NFL Draft. Jimmy Williams (cornerback, Born 1984)
James Franklin Williams, Jr. (born March 8, 1984) is a former American football cornerback who previously played for the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Virginia Tech, and was recognized as a unanimous All-American. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, but was later suspended for violating the NFL's banned substances policy. Darryl Tapp
Darryl Anthony Tapp (born September 13, 1984) is a former American football defensive end and outside linebacker who played twelve seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He is currently an assistant defensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at Virginia Tech and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Willie Marquis Pile (born May 25, 1980) is a former American football safety in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys. He also played in the Canadian Football League for the Toronto Argonauts. He played college football at Virginia Tech. Early years Pile attended West Potomac High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Ronyell Whitaker (born March 19, 1979) is a former professional American football cornerback. Ben Taylor (American Football)
Benjamin Frazier Taylor (born August 31, 1978) is a former professional American football player. Taylor was elected to the List of Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame inductees, Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. He now teaches physical education and coaches football at Shenandoah University in Virginia. Anthony Midget (born February 22, 1978) is an American football coach. He played college football at Virginia Tech. Kendall Christopher Fuller (born February 13, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL).
