Bryony Frances Smith (born 12 December 1997) is an English cricketer who plays for Surrey, South East Stars and Trent Rockets. A right-handed batter who bowls off spin, she made her county debut for Surrey in 2014. She has played three T20Is and one ODI for England, making her debut in 2018. Early life Smith was born on 12 December 1997 in Sutton, Greater London. She has worked as a secondary school teacher. Domestic career Smith made her Surrey debut in 2014 in a County Championship match against Warwickshire, making 13 runs batting at 7. She made 60* in her second match, a victory against Yorkshire. Smith quickly became a regular in Surrey's side, with her best seasons coming in 2018 and 2019, in which she hit 256 runs at 42.66 and 347 runs at 57.83, respectively. Sutton, London
Sutton is the principal town in the London Borough of Sutton in South London, England. It lies on the lower slopes of the North Downs, and is the administrative headquarters of the Outer London borough. Yorkshire Women Cricket Team
The Yorkshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Yorkshire. They play their home games at St George's Road, Harrogate, and are captained by Hollie Armitage. The 2017–18 India women's Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in India in March 2018. It was a tri-nation series between Australia women, England women and the India women cricket teams. The 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the third edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket 50-over domestic competition, which took place between 2 July and 25 September 2022. It featured eight teams playing in a round-robin group, followed by a knock-out round. The holders were the Southern Vipers, who won the first two editions of the competition. It ran alongside the Charlotte Edwards Cup. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. Northern Diamonds finished top of the group stage, qualifying directly for the final. The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and eight women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The tournament is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and took place for the first time in July and August 2021.
