Bryan Potvin
Bryan Anthony Potvin (born May 31, 1963, in Ottawa) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist. History Potvin began guitar lessons at the age of 13 in Victoria, B.C. His family re-located to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he continued his music studies. In 1984, Bryan, along with Jay Semko, Don Schmid and Merl Bryck formed The Northern Pikes. The band signed a world-wide recording contract with Virgin Records in the winter of 1986. Their seven-album catalogue sold in excess of 1 million units globally and garnered the band eight Juno Award nominations. In 1993, the group took a six-year hiatus, citing fatigue. With fellow band member Jay Semko, Potvin co-wrote the theme for the television series ''Due South''. From 1994 to 2000, Potvin was the A&R manager for PolyGram in Canada. The Northern Pikes
The Northern Pikes are a Canadian rock band formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 1984. The original members are Jay Semko, Bryan Potvin, Merl Bryck and Glen Hollingshead, who left the band in 1985 and was replaced by Don Schmid in June 1986. The band was active until 1993 and toured and recorded again from 1999 through to the present. The Northern Pikes were inducted into the Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame on Sunday, September 30, 2012, in Regina, Saskatchewan. The band released its ninth record of original material, ''Forest of Love'', on June 7, 2019. Hayley Aitken
Hayley Michelle Aitken (born 11 April 1986) is an Australian pop singer-songwriter and record producer who also performs mononymously as Hayley. She had a top 40 hit on the ARIA Singles Chart with her second single, "Kiss Me Quick" (July 2002). Aitken has worked as a songwriter or producer for other artists, and is a prolific producer for many K-pop artists. Biography Hayley Aitken was born in April 1986 in the Victorian rural town of Drouin. In 1997 she recorded a song, "Another Tear", following the death of Princess Diana written and produced by Reno Nicastro and Molly Meldrum. Velvet Empire
Velvet Empire was a Canadian pop music group that was formed through the second edition of the Global TV show ''Popstars'', entitled "Boy Meets Girl". The group was formed in Spring 2002. They recorded their first and only album in Toronto at Metalworks Recording Studio. The group were winners of a 10-month competition, intended to form a pop group comprising both males and females. Its members were Alex Price, Justin Humes, Janelle Belgrave, Lacey Block and Ryan Hamilton. The new group called itself Velvet Empire and released an album, ''Velvet Empire'', and single, "Frontin' On Me", in 2002.
