Bryan Passi
Bryan Passi (born 5 August 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Tel Aviv. Born in France, he plays for the Congo national team. Career Passi made his professional debut for Montpellier in a 2–0 Ligue 1 loss against FC Metz on 21 January 2017. He signed his first professional contract on 14 February 2017. On 31 August 2017, the last day of the summer transfer window, Passi joined Le Havre AC of Ligue 2 on loan for the 2017–18 season. The deal included an option for Le Havre to sign him permanently. International career Passi is of Congolese descent. He was called up to the Congo national team for a set of friendlies in September 2022. The 2023–24 Israeli Premier League, also known as Ligat ONE ZERO for sponsorship reasons, is the 25th season since the introduction of the Israeli Premier League in 1999 and the 82nd season of top-tier football in Israel. The 2022–23 Ligue 2, commonly known as 2022–23 Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, is the 84th season of Ligue 2. It began on 30 July 2022 and will conclude on 3 June 2023. The league will have a break from 12 November to 27 December due to the FIFA World Cup. Two clubs will be promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of the season as the number of clubs in Ligue 1 will be reduced from 20 to 18. As a result, no play-offs will be held at the end of the season. The 2020–21 Ligue 2 season, also known as Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, was the 82nd season of second-division football in France, and the 19th season since the division was rebranded as Ligue 2 from Division 2. Due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the announcement of the start and end dates for the season was delayed. There were suggestions that the season would feature just 18 teams, as opposed to the usual 20, after France's highest administrative court overturned the relegations of Amiens and Toulouse from Ligue 1; however, the relegations were reinstated by the General Assembly of the LFP with a vote on 23 June 2020. The 2019–20 Ligue 2 (referred to as the Domino's Pizza, Domino's Ligue 2 for sponsorship reasons) season was the 81st season since its establishment. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 28 April 2020, the French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe announced that there would be no sporting events, even behind closed doors, before September 2020, thus in effect ending the season. On 30 April 2020, the LFP declared FC Lorient, Lorient as champions of Ligue 2, and that the top two clubs would be promoted to 2020–21 Ligue 1, Ligue 1, meaning RC Lens, Lens were promoted as well. The decision on relegations was deferred to the general assembly of the FFF on 20 May 2020.
