Itahiwacu Bruce (born 2 March 1992), commonly known as Bruce Melodie is a Rwandan singer and songwriter and a winner of Primus Guma Guma Super Star seasons 8 (PGGSS). He is the Founder of Igitangaza Music record Label. Bruce is also a brand ambassador of BK Arena and Primus. He does his music under 1:55 AM label which lead by Coach Gael. History Early years Bruce Itahiwacu was born in Kicukiro District , he is the second born in a family of four by “Gervain Ntibihangana (father) and Velene Muteteri (deceased in 2013). Bruce attended Camp Kanombe primary school in Kanombe, Rwamagana Islamic secondary school. Kicukiro District
Kicukiro District is one of the three Districts which constitute the City of Kigali and is situated in the South-East of the City of Kigali. Is a district (''akarere'') located in Kigali Province, Rwanda. Kicukiro is home to a thriving market, a number of NGOs and the Bralirwa Brewery. BK Arena
BK Arena (formerly known as Kigali Arena until 2022) is an multi-purpose indoor arena in Kigali, Rwanda, used mostly for basketball and volleyball matches. Built and finished in 2019, it hosts sporting events and concerts. It is the biggest indoor arena in East Africa and is located next to the Amahoro Stadium. The arena is regularly used for games of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL). It was constructed by SUMMA, a Turkish international contractor. Primus Guma Guma Super Star (aka PGGSS) is an annual Rwandan reality singing competition show. PGGSS is sponsored by Bralirwa's Primus lager and was created by East African Promoters (EAP) to help grow music entertainment in Rwanda. Unlike East Africa's Tusker Project Fame and American Idol where the competitors are unknown talent, Primus Guma Guma Super Star takes known Rwandan artists (like Tom Close, Bruce Melodie, King James, Riderman, and Dream Boys) and has them compete against each another in hopes of winning cash to promote their music career to new heights.
