Bruce Bradley (–2013) was an American radio personality of the 20th century. Biography Bradley was born and raised in Rochester, New York. As a youth, he taught himself not to stutter by talking repeatedly into a tape recorder. He started in radio as a teenager in Upstate New York, working in Rochester, Troy, and Albany. He was the afternoon drive time man at WROW in Albany and a television weatherman on WTEN-TV, also in Albany. Bradley joined WBZ-AM in Boston in 1960 and had perhaps his greatest fame and success there as rock-and-roll disc jockey "Juicy Brucie" Bradley. When Bradley joined WBZ the station was playing middle of the road (music), middle of the road music. But it soon transitioned toward rock-and-roll oriented top 40 fare and become the dominant radio station in the Boston market,, and Bradley a popular evening disc jockey doing the daily top-10 countdown. WCAU (channel 10) is a television station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, airing programming from the NBC network. KETC, virtual channel 9 ( UHF digital channel 23), is a PBS member television station licensed to St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The station is owned by St. Louis Regional Public Media. KETC's studios are located at the Dana Brown Communications Center on Olive Street in St. Louis' Grand Center neighborhood, and its transmitter is located in South St. Louis County. KMOX (1120 AM) is a commercial radio station in St. Louis, Missouri. Owned by Audacy, Inc., it is a 50,000 watt Class A clear-channel station with a non-directional signal. The KMOX studios and offices are on Olive Street at Tucker Boulevard in the Park Pacific Building in St. Louis. KMOX refers to itself as "NewsRadio 1120 - The Voice of St. Louis." It is considered the first U.S. station to program all talk shows around the clock. KMOX's transmitter is located off Route 162 in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. Adult contemporary music (AC) is a form of radio-played popular music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad-heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, R&B, quiet storm and rock influence. Suffolk Downs
Suffolk Downs is a former Thoroughbred race track in East Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The track opened in 1935 after being built by Joseph A. Tomasello for a cost of $2 million. It was sold in May 2017 to a developer who plans to create housing and a shopping district. The final day of live racing at the track was June 30, 2019, with the facility hosting simulcast race wagering thereafter. The only remaining live horse racing in Massachusetts is at Plainridge Park Casino, which has harness racing. A number of famous horses raced at Suffolk Downs, including Seabiscuit, Whirlaway, Funny Cide, and Cigar.
