''Brotherhood'' ( zh, t=有情有義, s=有情有义, p=Yǒu Qíng Yǒu Yì) is a 2002 modern television serial jointly produced by Singapore's MediaCorp and China's Beijing YaHuan Media Co. (北京亚环影音), in conjunction with Beijing Broadcasting Institute. Starring Hong Kong actor Jordan Chan, Singaporean-based celebrity couple Fann Wong and Christopher Lee as well as mainland Chinese actresses Huang Yi and Hao Lei, the serial is set in modern-day Shanghai and Singapore, telling of the inter-generational feud between two twin brothers. Jordan Chan Siu-chun (born Chan Siu-tsun on 8 July 1967) is a Hong Kong actor, singer and dancer, known for starring in the ''Young and Dangerous'' film series and for his role in the 1998 TV adaptation of Louis Cha's novel, '' The Duke of Mount Deer''. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day. Its first day consisted of a Hokkien film, repeats of India's participation in the South East Asian Cultural Festival and Singapore Celebrates. ''Shin Min Daily News'' () is a Singapore Chinese-language afternoon newspaper currently published by SPH Media Trust. First started on 18 March 1967, by Singapore businessman Liang Runzhi (梁潤之) and the renowned Hong Kong writer Louis Cha as an offshoot of Hong Kong's ''Ming Pao'', it featured exclusive serializations of some of Cha's ''wuxia'' novels in its early days.
