Bronze Tiger
Bronze Tiger is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Dennis O'Neil, Leopoldo Dirampma, and Jim Berry, he first appeared in ''Richard Dragon, Kung Fu Fighter'' #1 (May 1975). The character's real name is Benjamin "Ben" Turner and is depicted as an African-American who is considered among the most premiere martial artists, assassins, and spies in the DC Universe. He is most notably depicted as a freelance vigilante, a member of the League of Assassins, and an operative of the Suicide Squad, characterized either as a villain or an antihero due to brainwashing and manipulation from the League of Assassins. Bronze Tiger has been adapted several times, notably appearing as a recurring The CW Arrowverse show '' Arrow'', portrayed by actor Michael Jai White. John Ostrander
John Ostrander (born April 20, 1949) is an American writer of comic books, including ''Suicide Squad'', ''Grimjack'' and '' Star Wars: Legacy''. Career Ostrander studied theology with the intent of becoming a Catholic priest, but now describes himself as an agnostic. Originally an actor in the Organic Theater Company in Chicago, Ostrander moved into writing comics in 1983. His first published works were stories about the character "Sargon, Mistress of War", and appeared in the First Comics series ''Warp!'', based on a series of plays by that same Chicago theatre company. He and Timothy Truman co-created the character Grimjack, who originally appeared in a backup story in the First Comics title, ''Starslayer'', before receiving his own title. Central City is a fictional American city appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It is the home of the Silver Age version of the Flash ( Barry Allen), and first appeared in ''Showcase'' #4 in September–October 1956. Location Central City's location has been vaguely defined over the years, similar to DC's other fictional cities such as Gotham City and Metropolis. An antihero (sometimes spelled as anti-hero) or antiheroine is a main character in a story who may lack conventional heroic qualities and attributes, such as idealism, courage, and morality.
