Bromma SS
Bromma () is a borough (''stadsdelsområde'') in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish. The fourth largest airport in Sweden and the third largest of the airports close to Stockholm, the Stockholm Bromma Airport, was first built in Bromma in 1936. The south-eastern part of Bromma is one of the richest areas in Stockholm. Boroughs Of Stockholm
Municipalities in Sweden are in some rare cases divided into smaller districts (sometimes translated ''boroughs'') or urban districts, and are sometimes assigned administrative boards responsible for certain areas of governance in their respective areas. Alvik
Alvik is a residential district in western Stockholm municipality and part of the Bromma borough. Judarn
Judarn is a small lake in Bromma, a western suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. Surrounded by forest and the Judarskogen nature reserve, it stretches between Åkeshov and Södra Ängby. Three other lakes are found nearby: Kyrksjön, Lillsjön, and Råcksta Träsk. The name is etymologically associated to ''ljuda'', the verb "to sound". Characteristics With an area of 74,000 square metres and an average depth of 2.7 metres (maximum 3.7 m), the lake contains 180,000 cubic metres of water and is supplied by a drainage area of 0.8 km². Originally supplying lake Lillsjön, Judarn today discharges into lake Mälaren. Regarded as one of the least contaminated lakes in Stockholm, Judarn receives storm water from a nearby traffic route which gives it considerable levels of lead resulting in a bathing ban, metal content otherwise being low and phosphorus levels moderate. Traneberg is a residential district in western Stockholm (Västerort) and part of the Bromma borough. Södra Ängby is a residential area blending functionalism with garden city ideals, located in western Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Bromma borough. Riksby
Riksby is a suburb within the district of Västerort in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in the borough of Bromma. History The name "Riksby" is derived from Riksby gård, a farm once located in the parish of Bromma parish. The village of Riksby was mentioned for the first time in a parish letter from 1409, when it was known as Rodhersby. Stockholm Municipality bought the land in the year 1904. It was previously a part of the estate of Åkeshofs Castle (''Åkeshof Slott''). In 1930, Riksby became an allotment. Because of this the house owners moved from the old Fredhällskolonin on Kungsholmen to Riksby. The district was established in 1926. In 1939 it was decided that the area was to be an apartment area and the following year the colonizers were to move to Iris Glia and Kortenslund. Mariehäll
Mariehäll is a suburb of Stockholm and a district in the north-east of the Bromma borough of Stockholm Municipality. In 2019, Mariehäll had 9,024 inhabitants. Mariehäll was originally part of the farm Bällsta. At the end of the 19th century Mariehäll became an industrial area, owing to its proximity to the then recently founded suburb Sundbyberg. An area of detached homes south-west of Mariehäll, then called ''Bällsta villastad'', came to be included within Mariehäll. By 2003 the number of inhabitants were 1,368. In the 2000s, a high-density residential area called Annedal was built in northern Mariehäll, increasing its population manifold.
