The GfK Entertainment charts are record charts compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German record industry. They include the "Single Top 100" and the "Album Top 100" chart. The chart week runs from Friday to Thursday, and the chart compilations are published on Tuesday for the record industry. The entire top 100 singles and top 100 albums are officially released the following Friday by GfK Entertainment. The charts are based on sales of physical singles and albums from retail outlets as well as permanent music downloads. "Layla" (pronunciation: laɪ̯.lɐ is a hit song by DJ Robin & Schürze that reached number one on the music charts of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the summer of 2022. Lyrics and music The song is entirely in German and tells of the singer recently having being approached on the street by the owner of a brothel whose madam is called Layla, a woman who is described as being "schöner, jünger, geiler" ("prettier, younger, sexier"; the word "geil", of which "geiler" is the comparative, is somewhat hard to translate into English, see the article on a 1986 song under that name). The singer decides to enter the facility to convince himself of Layla's reported beauty, finding that she is indeed very attractive. Luciano (born 28 January 1994) is a German rapper of Mozambican descent from Berlin. The son of a Mozambican father and a German mother, Luciano grew up mostly in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. He published his first pieces on the Locosquad YouTube channel. A little later followed the first mixtape 12812. He achieved his breakthrough with the piece Jagen die Mio, which he published with his friend Nikky Santoro. This was followed by another mixtape called Banditorinho. Placebo are a British rock band, formed in London in 1994 by vocalist–guitarist Brian Molko and bassist–guitarist Stefan Olsdal. Drummer Robert Schultzberg joined in late 1994, but left in 1996 shortly after the release of the band's eponymous debut album due to conflicts with Molko, and was replaced the same year by Steve Hewitt.
