Zick Zack (German for 'Snip Snip' or 'Zig Zag') is a song by German industrial metal band Rammstein. It was released on 7 April 2022 as the second single from their eighth album, '' Zeit''. The song became Rammstein's fourth No. 1 single in Germany after Zeit. Content "Zick Zack" is about cosmetic operations and the rising desire to need surgery in order to retain one's youth and to maintain an acceptable appearance as one ages. Music video The video depicts the band members performing to a small audience of elderly fans, dressed in stereotypical '80s hair band clothes, performing the song, complete with bandaged showgirls, who act as the band's beauticians backstage. Rammstein
Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts.
