Broaddus ( ) is a town in San Augustine County, Texas, United States. The population was 207 at the 2010 census. Geography Broaddus is located at (31.306337, –94.268897). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 189 people, 82 households, and 47 families residing in the town. The population density was 501.4 people per square mile (192.0/km2). There were 103 housing units at an average density of 273.3 per square mile (104.7/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 99.47% White, and 0.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.12% of the population. A lance is a spear designed to be used by a mounted warrior or cavalry soldier (lancer).
